Newton · Office space · Lease, buy or market
Looking for Newton office space? Tell our commercial team your preferred area, business use, size, budget and occupancy date.
Amo Realty - Boston City Properties
This inquiry goes to our commercial team. It is not a lease application, reservation, financing approval or municipal permit request.
Tell us whether you prefer Newton Corner, Oak Hill, Chestnut Hill or another Newton address. Compare each office by usable area, budget, staff and visitor travel and the facilities you actually need. An area preference is not a statement of current vacancy.
Ask our team about a specific address or your search criteria. Availability and terms need a current property-by-property check.
Compare before committing
Set priorities for usable floor area, layout, cost, access and occupancy date. Compare actual Class A, B and C offerings by condition and services rather than assuming a label proves value. Distinguish a requirement from a preference you can negotiate.
Ask about repairs, services, permitted use and the building’s other occupants. Where appropriate, speak with current tenants about day-to-day operations. Establish who pays for proposed changes and whether the property meets your intended activity.
Ask an attorney to review the lease or purchase documents, including charges, repairs, renewal, use restrictions and exit obligations. Our commercial team can help organize viewings and discuss proposals; an inquiry does not guarantee a price or terms.
Class A, B and C labels can help organize an office search, but they do not establish a particular building’s condition or suitability. Compare the actual suite, elevators, heating and cooling, security, management, parking and internet service. Ask which services are included and which cost extra.
Ask for the quoted area, rent period, base rent and separate operating charges. Compare utilities, parking, repairs, improvements and deposits, not just the headline rent. Discuss the term, renewal, expansion and sublease terms with our commercial team and have your attorney review the proposed agreement.
If you expect to occupy the property for years, compare a purchase with leasing. Review financing, taxes, insurance, maintenance and required improvements with the appropriate professionals. Ownership does not guarantee lower costs, tax savings or appreciation; renting unused space to others also requires review of the property and agreement.
If you own an office suite, building or mixed-use property, send our team its address, floor area, current use, occupancy and your sale or leasing plans. We can discuss how to describe the premises and compare relevant properties. Do not treat an old asking price, regional vacancy figure or growth forecast as today’s value.
Before you sign or start work
Discuss the office with our commercial team. Ask your attorney to review the agreement, your lender about financing and the municipality about the approvals for your business. A location guide does not settle those property-specific questions.
Send the address or search area, business use, size, budget and timing.
