Newton apartments to compare.

Compare the buildings below, then ask our team about the home and dates you need. These descriptions are not a list of apartments currently available.

The Aven at Newton Highlands

99 Needham Street · Newton Highlands

The Aven is the current name of the community formerly called Avalon at Newton Highlands. Its operator describes in-home laundry, stainless-steel appliances, quartz counters and different apartment finish schemes. Shared facilities include a fitness center, outdoor pool, club room and outdoor recreation areas. Compare the exact layout for stairs, room separation and usable work space. Ask whether a balcony, patio or fireplace belongs to the offered home, and confirm parking and pet terms.

Trio Newton

845 Washington Street · Newtonville

Trio lists in-home washers and dryers, quartz counters and gas cooking, with private terraces, dual bathroom vanities and walk-in closets in selected apartments. Shared facilities include roof decks with grills, a fitness center with yoga and spin space, a game room, club room and library, pet wash and garage parking. Compare the actual plan and terrace before choosing by bedroom count. Ask about parking and storage costs, and any program requirements for the particular apartment.

Woodland Station Apartments

1940 Washington Street · Auburndale / Woodland

Woodland Station describes full-size in-home laundry, stainless-steel appliances and granite or quartz counters, with walk-in closets and balconies in selected homes. Shared facilities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, club room, library and private workspaces, plus underground parking. Compare the trip from the offered building entrance to Woodland station and your work address. Confirm balcony access, garage cost and booking arrangements for workspaces rather than assuming those details from an amenity list.

28 Austin

28 Austin Street · Newtonville

28 Austin offers one-bedroom, one-bedroom-with-den and two-bedroom homes, with in-home laundry and quartz kitchen counters. Selected plans have patios, dens or dual bathroom vanities. Shared facilities include a sky deck, lounge, conference room, fitness center, playground and garage. Furnished corporate apartments are advertised separately. Ask which plan and lease terms fit your dates, and confirm whether the home has income restrictions or other program requirements before comparing application steps.

Also considering Needham?

Charles River Landing

300 Second Avenue · Needham

Charles River Landing is in Needham, not Newton. Its operator describes one- and two-bedroom apartments with in-home laundry and selected studies or balconies, alongside shared fitness, pool and resident facilities. Consider it only if Needham also fits your search. Check your commute and everyday destinations from this address, and compare the actual floor plan, parking cost and lease terms with the Newton homes you are considering.

Compare the full monthly cost.

Request a written quote for the specific apartment, move-in date and lease length. Ask whether the quoted monthly price includes required charges, and list utilities, parking, pet charges and optional services separately.

Keep one-time move-in costs separate from your monthly budget. If a discount is offered, check when payments are due, how long it lasts and what rent applies afterward. Confirm the cost and booking process for an elevator or loading area if you need one.

Check the apartment before choosing a lease.

Station route and train timetable

Compare the walk and the train you would actually take, including the return trip. A commuter-rail trip and a Green Line trip can have different schedules and transfers.

Stairs, dens and private outdoor space

Ask about internal stairs in loft or split-level plans. Confirm whether a den is enclosed, and whether a patio or balcony belongs to the quoted apartment.

Furnished and program-specific homes

Ask which homes offer furniture or shorter leases for your dates. For a designated income-restricted apartment, confirm its separate eligibility and formal application requirements.
