Looking for Harvard office space? Tell our commercial team your preferred area, business use, size, budget and occupancy date.
Amo Realty - Boston City Properties
This inquiry goes to our commercial team. It is not a lease application, reservation, financing approval or municipal permit request.
This page concerns the town of Harvard in Massachusetts, not Harvard Square in Cambridge. Compare the Ayer Road area, town center and other addresses with staff travel and client needs. The town’s Ayer Road planning resources describe a corridor vision; they do not grant permission for a particular premises.
Ask our team about a specific address or your search criteria. Availability and terms need a current property-by-property check.
Compare before committing
If the search includes Devens, establish which authority handles the property and proposed use. Do not treat a Harvard mailing address or a regional development plan as evidence that one municipal approval process applies everywhere.
Describe equipment, client visits, laboratories, medical rooms or other specialized uses before shortlisting. Ask about permitted use, building services, fit-out and parking. Nearby employers do not establish demand or suitability for your own operation.
Include deposits, services, maintenance, financing and improvement costs. If buying or leasing more than you need, investigate any proposed shared occupancy and allow for vacancy. Ownership is not automatically the best choice merely because you can afford a deposit.
Class A, B and C labels can help organize an office search, but they do not establish a particular building’s condition or suitability. Compare the actual suite, elevators, heating and cooling, security, management, parking and internet service. Ask which services are included and which cost extra.
Ask for the quoted area, rent period, base rent and separate operating charges. Compare utilities, parking, repairs, improvements and deposits, not just the headline rent. Discuss the term, renewal, expansion and sublease terms with our commercial team and have your attorney review the proposed agreement.
If you expect to occupy the property for years, compare a purchase with leasing. Review financing, taxes, insurance, maintenance and required improvements with the appropriate professionals. Ownership does not guarantee lower costs, tax savings or appreciation; renting unused space to others also requires review of the property and agreement.
If you own an office suite, building or mixed-use property, send our team its address, floor area, current use, occupancy and your sale or leasing plans. We can discuss how to describe the premises and compare relevant properties. Do not treat an old asking price, regional vacancy figure or growth forecast as today’s value.
Before you sign or start work
Discuss the office with our commercial team. Ask your attorney to review the agreement, your lender about financing and the municipality about the approvals for your business. A location guide does not settle those property-specific questions.
Send the address or search area, business use, size, budget and timing.
