Buying a home.
Not booking a rental.

Ask our buying team about the listing’s current status, arranging a visit, comparable sales and preparing an offer. Owning a unit does not automatically allow unrestricted renovation or personalization.

Homes, prices and statuses can change. This guide is not a live list of apartments for sale or a promise of every property on the market.

Financial District purchase comparisons

Compare the home.
Plan for ownership.

Pearl, High or Congress Street?

If Wharf District Park or another downtown destination matters, include the entrance you need to reach. Compare the trip from the actual offered home. A landmark or street name does not establish a current home for sale in that location.

Loft-style home or an older building?

Ask for the actual room arrangement, kitchen, laundry, storage and entrance. Confirm the home’s address and ownership documents rather than assuming every nearby building is in the Financial District or offered for individual purchase.

Monthly costs and building rules

Compare the mortgage payment with taxes, insurance, any association charges and upkeep. Ask your lender about loan and closing costs and your tax adviser about your individual circumstances. Buying does not guarantee rising values or unrestricted changes to a unit.

Ask for the building rules and relevant ownership documents before planning renovations. Have your attorney and lender review the documents relevant to the purchase.
