The Holy Trinity proposal
A June 2015 Boston City Properties article described approval of a proposed glass-and-steel addition to the Holy Trinity German Church and Rectory in the South End. It identified architect Feingold Alexander & Associates and New Boston Ventures’ David Goldman, and described plans to combine retained church features with new construction.
The source dated the church to the 1870s and said it had been vacant for more than five years. It reported a proposed summer 2015 construction start and completion by the end of 2016. Those were the timetable and conditions described then, not confirmation of later construction or current condominium availability.
Two other developments mentioned
The article said three developments worth more than $75 million were approved during the week of June 8. Besides the church proposal, it described a 48,000-square-foot home for Boston Preparatory Charter Public School in Hyde Park and 12 affordable homes for low-income residents at 35 Huntington Street in Dorchester.
The source referred to the approving body as the Boston Redevelopment Board and abbreviated it as BRB. This archive attributes the approval report to the original article rather than treating that wording as independent verification of the agency or approvals.
