What the original approval report described

The July 2015 article said the Boston Redevelopment Authority approved six projects, describing 753 residential units and a combined value of $490.6 million. Those are totals reported by the source. Its abbreviated project descriptions do not supply enough detail to reconcile the totals or confirm completed homes.

Chestnut Hill Avenue, West Third Street and Fisher Avenue

At 375–399 Chestnut Hill Avenue, the article described National Development’s revised plans for 92 senior-housing units instead of 92 apartments, along with 162 hotel rooms and 14,000 square feet of retail. It gave the mixed-use proposal as 218,500 square feet and $95 million.

At 45 West Third Street in South Boston, it reported a Spaulding & Slye proposal to replace a parking lot, industrial building and residential building with a 132,000-square-foot mixed-use development. Reported plans included 105 homes and 3,400 square feet of ground-floor retail in a $45 million project. At 40 Fisher Avenue in Mission Hill, it described a 22,039-square-foot, 15-home proposal by 36–40 Fisher Avenue LLC.

Walker Park, Clippership Wharf and Congress Square

The article described Urban Edge Housing Corp.’s Walker Park proposal as 49 affordable apartments across 80 Walnut Park, 67 Walnut Park and 2040 Columbus Avenue in Roxbury, named for community activist Delphine Walker. This historical description is not an eligibility determination or application.

For Clippership Wharf in East Boston, it reported Lend Lease’s $225 million, 745,896-square-foot proposal with nearly 500 homes. Congress Square was described as Related Beals’ $105 million, 458,300-square-foot redevelopment of six former Fidelity buildings. The source called that proposal residential without explaining its mix of uses; this archive retains the reported scope, not a verified final configuration.
