Three Allston rental communities.

Read each building guide, then ask our team about a particular apartment and your dates. These are community comparisons, not a list of homes currently available.

One Everett

1 Everett Street

Studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts with in-home laundry. The building lists a roof deck with grills, a fitness center, a resident lounge and underground garage space. Ask about the actual apartment’s storage, parking terms and pet requirements. Some homes have income eligibility rules and a separate application process; confirm which rules apply to the apartment you want.

Continuum Allston

219 Western Avenue · Barry’s Corner

Studio through three-bedroom apartments across two towers. The community lists in-home laundry, fitness facilities, a resident living room, a game room, a work lounge, garage parking with EV charging and bicycle storage. Shared outdoor spaces include a terrace and backyard. Compare the apartment’s actual closets, workspace, windows and any private patio; a community amenity list does not establish every home’s layout.

E3 Apartments

65 Brainerd Road · Eco, Edge and Element

Eco, Edge and Element are three buildings within one community. Studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plans with dens and two-bedroom plans are advertised, with in-home laundry. Finishes differ by building, and private balconies or patios belong to selected homes. Shared amenities include roof decks, fitness spaces, a garden terrace, a resident lounge, bicycle storage and a pet spa. Ask which building contains the apartment and whether a den fits the use you have in mind.

Compare rent, parking and move-in costs.

Ask for a written quote for the apartment, your dates and lease length. Compare rent, required monthly charges, utilities and any parking, pet or amenity charges that apply to your home.

Keep one-time move-in costs separate. If a concession is offered, ask when each payment is due and what the rent will be when the discount ends. Confirm the move-in arrangements for your date, including elevator reservations if needed.

Check your commute, floor plan and building rules.

The train, bus or campus route you will use

Boston Landing is a commuter rail station. For E3, check the route via Griggs Street on the Green Line near Commonwealth Avenue. From Continuum, test the trip from 219 Western Avenue to your work or campus address. Compare the walk to your stop, transfers and service at the times you travel; being in Allston does not give these buildings the same commute.

Bedrooms and space for a desk

Request the actual floor plan and room dimensions. Check bedroom separation, closets, laundry and space for a desk or dining table. A den is different from an advertised bedroom; ask how the particular layout is described.

Noise and private outdoor space

Visit the actual apartment when you expect to be home. Consider its floor, windows and nearby activity. Confirm whether outdoor space belongs to the home or is shared, and ask about access hours and guest rules.

Parking, pets and shared facilities

Confirm the parking location, access and price for the space you would use. Ask about pet requirements and any charges. For the gym, roof deck or work lounge, check access, hours and reservations rather than assuming every service is included in rent.

Buying a home in Allston?

Tell our buying team your price range, preferred addresses and purchase timeline. A purchase needs its own search and review of ownership costs and building documents; the rental guides above do not establish what is for sale.
