Wheelock College merged with Boston University in 2018. The former Wheelock grounds became BU’s Fenway campus; BU’s current registrar lists Wheelock College of Education & Human Development at 2 Silber Way. These are different destinations for an apartment search.

If you mean the former college grounds around the Riverway and Pilgrim Road, tell us that location. Compare a Fenway or Longwood-area apartment with the actual entrance you need. This page does not describe a currently independent “Wheelock University.”
If you are attending BU Wheelock today, confirm the class address with BU. The 2 Silber Way reference is on the Charles River campus, not the former college grounds. Use our BU off-campus housing guide for that broader search, then compare your actual journey.

The apartment and your routine
The original guide also suggested Allston and Brighton. Treat these as alternatives whose trips need checking, not as universally close to either Wheelock location. Tell us your preferred area, bedrooms, laundry, pet and access needs before comparing a studio, loft or rented condo.
Ask for rent, lease start and end dates, utilities, recurring charges and payments due before moving in. Check the actual bedrooms, shared space and written lease requirements rather than relying on an old advertised price.
