Find a West End home

Looking for a condo or apartment in Boston’s West End? Tell Amo Realty which addresses you are considering, whether you want to buy or rent, and the budget and layout you need.

The earlier guide contrasted larger residential buildings with older converted homes and discussed the area’s redevelopment history. Compare the particular home rather than assuming a neighborhood label guarantees its features or price.

Buying a condo

Ask about association charges, shared maintenance, reserves, planned work and the rights to any parking, storage or outdoor space. Compare the floor plan and building entrance as well as the view.

Use recent comparable sales for the property you want to buy. Old neighborhood medians and predictions about rising prices are not evidence of what a home is worth or what it will sell for later.

Renting a home

Share your move-in date, monthly budget, bedrooms and any parking or pet requirements with the rental team. Check what the rent covers and the proposed lease dates for the actual home.

Elevators, laundry, concierge services and other facilities differ by building and agreement. Ask about the facilities and costs attached to the apartment you are considering, not a list of amenities from another home.

Office and retail searches

Portland Street and Cambridge Street were commercial examples in the old guide. Tell our commercial team whether you want to lease or purchase space, the business use and your size and timing requirements.

Compare the existing layout, entry, customer access, deliveries and parking. Confirm the proposed costs and the use and work allowed for the actual premises before treating them as suitable for your business.

Tell us what you want to buy or rent

A home rental, a condo purchase and a business lease require different information. Include a listing link or address when you contact Amo Realty so the team can discuss the right property and next step.

This is a neighborhood and brokerage inquiry guide, not a live MLS feed or a calendar of available tours. Availability, viewing arrangements and terms must be confirmed for the property.
