Amo Realty - Boston City Properties
Looking near Symphony Hall, Westland Avenue or the East Fenway side of Boston? Tell us which streets work for you and whether you want to rent an apartment or buy a condo. A street address is more useful than a broad neighborhood label when comparing the walk to work, school or transit.
Brick walk-ups, bow-front buildings and larger residential buildings offer different layouts and access. Check the actual entrance, stairs or elevator, storage and bedroom arrangement before deciding that a home fits.
For an apartment search, share your move-in date, monthly budget, bedrooms and any parking or pet requirements. Ask Amo Realty about the lease dates, utilities included in rent and the next step for arranging a viewing.
Church Park is one of the rental-building examples in our earlier neighborhood guide. That guide described concierge services, storage, a fitness area and a rooftop terrace; ask about the facilities and charges attached to the specific apartment rather than assuming every earlier feature is included.
For a condo purchase, compare the usable floor plan, monthly association charges, building condition and rights to any parking or outdoor space. Ask your agent for recent comparable sales for the actual property.
A brownstone conversion and a larger elevator building can involve different shared responsibilities. Review the association documents with your attorney and confirm what the home includes before making an offer.
Our earlier coverage described Symphony Court at 43 Westland Avenue, including its conversion from a garage and sales activity in 2014. It also described an expansion at 44 Burbank Street that would bring the combined development from 48 to 82 homes.
Those reports included penthouses, larger windows, high ceilings, parking and shared facilities. They are historical descriptions, not a statement that a named unit is for sale or that a construction phase is still underway. Ask about the exact condo and its documents.
A 2013 development account described a five-story, 20-condo proposal at 50 Symphony Road, with 11 parking spaces, bike storage and access from Public Alley 810. Three homes were described as affordable under the proposal.
The proposed mix included one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-study and two-bedroom layouts. That old account does not establish completion, present availability or eligibility for a particular home; those questions need the actual property and current documents.
Pierce Boston and Symphony Plaza Towers also appeared in the earlier guide. Compare each address separately: a nearby district, a named tower and an individual apartment are not interchangeable locations or offers.
Test the walk to the Green or Orange Line stop you would use. Check parking arrangements and the route to nearby museums, shops or your workplace from the actual home rather than relying on a neighborhood-wide travel estimate.
Symphony Hall is the landmark behind the area’s name. Event-hire prices and production services from the old guide are not apartment-rental terms, and this page does not book the venue.
Ask Amo Realty about the home you want to rent or buy. Include a listing link or address if you have one, along with your timing, budget and the layout you need.
