Somerville · commercial property · Lease, buy or market
Looking to lease or buy Somerville commercial property, or offer a property for sale or lease? Tell our team the address or preferred area, business use, size, budget and timing.
Amo Realty - Boston City Properties
This inquiry goes to our commercial team. It is not a lease application, reservation, financing approval or municipal permit request.
For Somerville, compare Davis Square, Union Square and Assembly Square with the exact street and premises your business needs. The city has several commercial centers; do not treat it as a Boston neighborhood with one central business district.
Ask our team about a specific address or your search criteria. Availability and terms need a current property-by-property check.
If your search is for land, a multifamily investment or an operating business, say so. Buying a business is not the same transaction as leasing or buying its premises.
Compare before committing
Earlier Grove Street, Highland Avenue, Medford Street and Day Street offices differed from the Roseland Street office/condo and Beacon Street mixed-use descriptions. Identify the legal unit, floor access, usable area, utilities, existing leases and shared costs.
Elm Street, Bow Street, Beacon Street and Prospect Street references included different shop and ownership formats. The Boston Avenue former service-station and Cross Street redevelopment descriptions require parcel, condition and approval checks; an old three-story concept is not present permission.
The original reported the 2018 Amazon headquarters shortlist and discussed future station works. Those passages are historical, not a pending headquarters decision, a current transit map or a prediction of rent increases. Check the route to the actual premises when comparing locations.
Our earlier Somerville guide discussed these premises. These are historical references, not a current list of properties for sale or lease:
Send our team the address and the business use you have in mind. The old asking price, tenant, floor plan or lease term needs a current check.
For a lease, compare the term, rent quotation and billing period, deposits, services, fit-out and additional charges. For a purchase, distinguish business occupancy from an income investment and review condition, title, existing leases, financing and continuing costs. An occupied building or extra unit does not guarantee income or immediate possession.
Before you sign or start work
Discuss the premises with our commercial team. Ask your attorney to review the agreement, your advisers about financing, costs and insurance and the municipality about the approvals for your business. A location guide does not settle those property-specific questions.
Send the address or search area, business use, size, budget and timing.
