This inquiry goes to our commercial team. It is not a lease application, reservation, financing approval or municipal permit request.

Choose the location.
Inspect the premises.

For Rockport on Cape Ann, compare downtown School Street offices, Railroad Avenue premises and Whistlestop Mall retail with the small shops and galleries discussed in the earlier Bearskin Neck guide. Your proposed use and delivery needs matter as much as the address.

Ask our team about a specific address or your search criteria. Availability and terms need a current property-by-property check.

If your search is for land, a multifamily investment or an operating business, say so. Buying a business is not the same transaction as leasing or buying its premises.

The premises.
The agreement. The costs.

Historic office rooms and former restaurant premises

The old 11 School Street office description differs from the former restaurant at 17 Railroad Avenue. Check room size, floor access, shared facilities, ventilation, utilities and customer entry. Historic character does not establish suitability, vacancy or permission to change the use.

A shop, a larger retail unit or waterfront premises

Compare storefront frontage and pedestrian access with parking, loading and inventory storage. The earlier Whistlestop Mall description covered a larger retail complex; it does not establish a vacant unit today. Bearskin Neck’s historic reuse is context, not a promise of year-round revenue or unrestricted redevelopment.

Researching an earlier property advertisement?

Our earlier Rockport guide discussed these premises. These are historical references, not a current list of properties for sale or lease:

  • 11 School Street
  • 17 Railroad Avenue — earlier restaurant description
  • 35 Whistlestop Mall
  • Bearskin Neck — historic commercial-reuse discussion

Send our team the address and the business use you have in mind. The old asking price, tenant, floor plan or lease term needs a current check.

Compare the full commitment

For a lease, compare the term, rent quotation and billing period, deposits, services, fit-out and additional charges. For a purchase, distinguish business occupancy from an income investment and review condition, title, existing leases, financing and continuing costs. An occupied building or extra unit does not guarantee income or immediate possession.

Before you sign or start work

Your use.
The written terms. The approvals.

Discuss the premises with our commercial team. Ask your attorney to review the agreement, your advisers about financing, costs and insurance and the municipality about the approvals for your business. A location guide does not settle those property-specific questions.

A space for your work.
A clear next step.

Send the address or search area, business use, size, budget and timing.
