Porter Square · Cambridge–Somerville area · Rentals
Compare apartments around Porter Square by their full address and municipality. A Cambridge apartment, a Somerville home and a property farther toward Ball Square are separate choices, even when a listing uses a broader Porter Square label.
Talk with our rental team
This is an inquiry to Amo Realty - Boston City Properties, not an application or reservation. Ask our team which documents are needed before sending private financial records.
Ask about the offered home’s rooms, entrance, storage and laundry. Compare rent, utilities, recurring charges, move-in payments and the actual lease dates.
An area or building guide is not a vacancy list. Ask our rental team about a particular apartment and move-in date.
Porter Square rental comparisons
Massachusetts Avenue and Somerville Avenue are starting points for your search; Beacon, Elm and White streets offer other addresses to compare. Use the actual city and entrance on a listing. Do not infer the municipality, taxes or journey from which side of a broad neighborhood description a property seems to occupy.
For a home above shops, ask about the entrance, noise and delivery activity. For a walk-up or multi-level loft, check stairs, enclosed bedrooms, bathroom locations, windows, laundry and storage. An open loft area is not automatically an additional bedroom.
Hathaway Lofts is a rental guide at 15 Richdale Avenue, while Porter Square Lofts at 18 White Street is a condominium guide. Frost Terrace is an income-restricted Cambridge rental community with program-specific rules, not a general vacancy list. Sphere Apartments at 640 Boston Avenue is in Medford near Ball Square; compare it as a separate location rather than putting it inside Porter Square.
If a listing refers to Rand at Porter, 260 Beacon Street, 290 Highland Avenue, 7 Frost Street, 75 Richdale Avenue, Mount Vernon Street or Regent Street, send the complete address and unit to our buying team. Older development descriptions, projected completion dates and sale examples are not current offers. Compare association rules, costs, lawful use and the actual home—not a promise of guaranteed appreciation or tax-free returns.
Ask about utilities, parking, bike storage, pets, laundry, recurring charges and move-in payments. Check the current route from the entrance to Porter station and the places you visit. Do not assume a fixed rent, transit time, tax advantage or parking space from the area’s name.
Tell our commercial team what you need to lease or buy, the business use and the floor-area requirement. Keep hotel accommodation separate from a residential lease, and distinguish retail or office space from apartments in the same mixed-use building.
Tell our buying team about the home or address in Porter Square you are considering, your price range and purchase timeline. The rental inquiry above is not a condo sales search or an offer of a particular home.
Talk with our buying teamThe apartment and your routine
Compare the route to the actual station entrance and your work or campus, then check the apartment’s layout and written terms. Keep Cambridge, Somerville and Medford addresses distinct.
Check lease dates, utilities, pet rules, parking and shared facilities for the offered apartment. Ask for any required recurring charges and move-in costs separately.
Share the exact dates and furniture you need. An appliance list does not establish that an apartment is furnished or offered for a shorter lease.
