Amo Realty - Boston City Properties
Nubian Square, formerly Dudley Square, is in Roxbury, Boston. The square was renamed in December 2019. Dudley and Washington streets, Warren Street and Blue Hill Avenue are location references to compare by exact address. Say that you mean Roxbury when making a request, especially if another listing uses the name Dudley.
Dudley town and Roxbury are not interchangeable places. Send an exact address or map reference before comparing a house, apartment or business property. A familiar square name does not establish that a listing belongs to the Boston neighborhood.
Explain whether you want a condo, townhouse, single-family home or multifamily property. Ask about the rooms, entrances, condition, storage and outdoor space that would affect your use of the home.
For a condominium, discuss shared areas, recurring charges and documents; for a house or multifamily purchase, identify condition and responsibility questions. Inspection, lender and legal questions need the appropriate professionals. A lower asking price or a foreclosure description is not evidence of a suitable home or permission for a proposed use.
For a rental request, give Amo Realty - Boston City Properties your lease dates, rental budget, bedrooms, pets, laundry and parking needs. Ask which facilities belong to the specific home and what the proposed rent includes.
If you are considering a temporary stay before a purchase, compare the actual lease and move requirements. Renting does not remove the need to understand notice, maintenance and other agreement questions; it also does not reserve a future home purchase.
For a shop, office or warehouse purchase or lease, describe the business activity, amount of space, customer access, deliveries, layout and timing you need.
Keep a business-premises request distinct from an ordinary residential rental. Ask about the actual building, services, documents and any approvals that must be checked for the activity. A local incubator initiative or commercial corridor is not confirmation of financing, a suitable vacancy or an allowed use.
For neighborhood history, explore the Bolling municipal building, the redevelopment of the Ferdinand site and the square’s role as a bus and commercial center. The Roxbury Master Plan and Dudley Vision are historical planning references, not approvals for a property you may buy.
Those references are useful starting points for understanding the location. Proposed towers, job growth and price forecasts in the older guide are not current project or employment promises. For a property decision, focus on the exact address, daily routes and information available about the site itself.
State that plan separately when discussing a condo or multifamily purchase. Ask about existing occupancy or leases, condition, documented costs and responsibilities before treating the property as an investment.
Ownership does not automatically permit subletting, short stays, conversion or a new business use. Bring document and legal questions to your attorney, financing to your lender and property-use approval questions to the relevant owner, association or authority. No income or return is promised.
For buying, send the exact Roxbury address if known, property type, purchase budget, timing and layout or condition questions. For renting, share your lease dates and household space requirements with our rental team.
For commercial premises, specify lease or purchase and describe the activity and access needs. A request can help distinguish the right property conversation; it is not a search filter, current availability list or confirmation that an older example is on the market.
