off-campus search.

Use your message to name New England College of Optometry, the actual campus or class address, your monthly budget, bedrooms and move-in date. If you are sharing, include how many people will live in the home.

Add laundry, parking, pet, furnishing or access needs. If you have an apartment address or building in mind, send it so the team can discuss that home rather than a campus-wide promise.

Start with the address.

Beacon Street classes or a clinical location?

NECO’s contact page distinguishes the 424 Beacon Street main campus from its eye-care locations. Send the address you need to reach for classes or clinical work. A home convenient to Beacon Street is not automatically convenient to every clinical placement.

Back Bay or a Beacon Hill alternative?

The original guide compared Back Bay brownstones, lofts and condos, with Beacon Hill as another search area. Name the streets you would consider, then compare the actual route. Check the home’s floor, stairs or elevator and laundry rather than relying on a neighborhood amenity list.

Campus identity and location checked October 4, 2026: NECO main campus and clinical contacts. These are campus references, not university endorsements of our brokerage or an apartment.

The apartment and your routine

Check the details
you will live with.

For a shared apartment, compare bedrooms and common study space rather than just the total room count. Send your campus schedule and any second destination. Ask about the actual home’s rent, lease dates, utilities and any separate building or parking charges.

The full rental quote

Ask for rent, lease start and end dates, utilities, recurring charges and payments due before moving in. Check the actual bedrooms, shared space and written lease requirements rather than relying on an old advertised price.

Thinking about buying a condo?

Talk with our buying team about your purchase budget, timing and intended use. Ask about condominium rules, costs and any future rental restrictions. Buying does not guarantee investment returns or a tenant after graduation.
