Tell us which Mission Hill property you want to buy

If you are considering a rental condo, multifamily building or renovation purchase in Mission Hill, share your budget, timing and any address or listing link with Amo Realty.

Brick row houses, wood-frame triple-deckers and larger residential buildings need different comparisons. Review the condition, access, parking arrangements and responsibilities attached to the actual property.

Evaluate the rental-property documents

Ask for leases, rent records, operating expenses, maintenance history and planned work before relying on a seller’s income estimate. Discuss comparable sales for homes with similar size and condition.

Proximity to Longwood, colleges or transit does not guarantee a return. The old guide’s 2015 and 2017 sales and rental figures are historical, not a valuation or an income forecast for your purchase.

Know the part of Mission Hill you are comparing

The original guide described the Mission Hill Triangle around Huntington Avenue, Tremont Street and Worthington Street, as well as Brigham Circle’s shops and the transition toward the medical area. Those district descriptions are not boundaries for every Mission Hill address.

Check the route to the Green Line, Roxbury Crossing or the destination you use. Visit the particular street and building; slopes, entrances and travel routes are more useful than a broad walkability claim.

Renting a home rather than buying an investment

For an apartment search, tell our rental team your move-in date, monthly budget, bedrooms and parking or pet needs. Include any stairs or elevator requirements that matter to you.

Ask Amo Realty about the exact home’s availability, lease dates and charges. A college residence, public-housing development or affordable unit has a different application process from an unrestricted rental.

One Brigham Circle, Parcel 25 and One Gurney Street

Our earlier guide discussed One Brigham Circle and the mixed-use Parcel 25 redevelopment. Its 2017 account described One Gurney Street with affordable residences, business space and a location across from Roxbury Crossing.

Those are historical development examples, not properties offered for sale or rent on this page. Confirm present ownership, availability and eligibility for any specific housing or commercial request.

Mosaic and other housing references

The earlier account also discussed Mosaic, Mission Main and Mission Park. It mixed condo, affordable-rental and other housing information, so a building name alone does not establish what kind of home is being offered.

Use the specific address and unit when contacting Amo Realty. Ask whether that home is currently for sale or rent, and confirm any housing-program eligibility separately.

Prepare a focused investment inquiry

Tell your agent whether the goal is a rental-property purchase, renovation, resale or a different assignment. Ask what comparable information and property documents can be obtained for the particular address.

Have financing, ownership documents and proposed work reviewed by the relevant professionals. An inquiry starts that discussion; it does not reserve a property, establish approvals or promise appreciation.
