This inquiry goes to our commercial team. It is not a lease application, reservation, financing approval or municipal permit request.

Choose the location.
Inspect the premises.

For Lowell, compare Downtown, the Highlands, Pawtucketville or Centralville with the exact address you need. Former mills, office parks, retail storefronts and industrial premises raise different room, loading, customer-access and fit-out questions. Tell our team whether you want business premises, land, an income property or an operating business.

Ask our team about a specific address or your search criteria. Availability and terms need a current property-by-property check.

If your search is for land, a multifamily investment or an operating business, say so. Buying a business is not the same transaction as leasing or buying its premises.

Compare before committing

The premises.
The agreement. The costs.

Reused mills or modern office premises

The earlier Suffolk, Cabot and John Street examples described reused historic buildings; Lowes Way and Westford Street described larger offices. Check floor access, utilities, rooms, shared services and repairs. An old medical or research fit-out description does not establish permission for your particular operation.

One storefront or a mixed-use investment

The guide distinguished shopping-center units, downtown storefronts, a former restaurant and whole mixed-use buildings. Check the actual unit, entrances, signs, customer parking and continuing charges. Existing upper-floor homes or tenants are not immediate space for your business, nor guaranteed income.

Land and changes to a former use

For the earlier Middlesex Street parcel or a restaurant, bank or service-space reuse, compare the proposal with current records and the work required. A previous layout, renovation, development plan or quoted area is not approval for your intended use.

Researching an earlier property advertisement?

Our earlier Lowell guide discussed these premises. These are historical references, not a current list of properties for sale or lease:

  • 160 Middlesex Street — earlier development parcel
  • 660 Suffolk Street — original Wannalancit Mills reference
  • 175 Cabot Street
  • 59 Lowes Way
  • 116 John Street
  • 1115 Westford Street
  • 963 Chelmsford Street
  • 211–215 Plain Street
  • 92 Central Street — original mixed-use/condo description
  • 25 Merrimack Street — earlier restaurant description
  • 1 Middlesex Street — mixed-use building
  • 175 Central Street

Send our team the address and the business use you have in mind. The old asking price, tenant, floor plan or lease term needs a current check.

Compare the full commitment

For a lease, compare the term, rent quotation and billing period, deposits, services, fit-out and additional charges. For a purchase, distinguish business occupancy from an income investment and review condition, title, existing leases, financing and continuing costs. An occupied building or extra unit does not guarantee income or immediate possession.

Before you sign or start work

Your use.
The written terms. The approvals.

Discuss the premises with our commercial team. Ask your attorney to review the agreement, your advisers about financing, costs and insurance and the municipality about the approvals for your business. A location guide does not settle those property-specific questions.

A space for your work.
A clear next step.

Send the address or search area, business use, size, budget and timing.
