This inquiry goes to our commercial team. It is not a lease application, reservation, financing approval or municipal permit request.

Choose the location.
Inspect the premises.

For Lawrence, compare an Essex Street or downtown storefront with office space in a former mill, a medical suite, an industrial property or land for a new project. Identify the exact Marston Street, Merrimack Street or other address and the customer, staff and delivery trips that matter to your business.

Ask our team about a specific address or your search criteria. Availability and terms need a current property-by-property check.

If your search is for land, a multifamily investment or an operating business, say so. Buying a business is not the same transaction as leasing or buying its premises.

Compare before committing

The premises.
The agreement. The costs.

Former mills, medical rooms and smaller offices

The earlier guide contrasted reused waterfront industrial buildings with modern offices and ready-made medical rooms. Check room layout, floor access, heating and cooling, shared facilities, parking and the work needed for your use. A river view, refurbishment date or old suite size does not establish present condition or availability.

A storefront, whole building or development parcel

Ground-floor windows, upper-floor access and an occupied building are different considerations from a freestanding retail unit or bare land. Confirm which area is offered, existing leases, permitted uses, repairs and parking rights. Do not treat a large building’s total area as the size of one available suite.

Earlier redevelopment news

The original described the December 2017 acquisition of the former Polartec plant at 46 Stafford Street and a proposed innovation-hub reuse. That is historical project reporting, not confirmation of today’s tenants, construction status or available workspace.

Researching an earlier property advertisement?

Our earlier Lawrence guide discussed these premises. These are historical references, not a current list of properties for sale or lease:

  • 207 Marston Street — earlier land advertisement
  • 360 Merrimack Street — former industrial office building
  • 52 Franklin Street
  • 225–235 Essex Street
  • 25 Marston Street — earlier medical-office description
  • 375 Common Street
  • 499 Essex Street
  • 276–280 Essex Street — whole-building example
  • 184 Jackson Street
  • 106 Marston Street
  • 69–71 Winthrop Avenue — larger retail example
  • 500 Merrimack Street
  • 155 Parker Street
  • 290 Merrimack Street
  • 46 Stafford Street — December 2017 redevelopment report

Send our team the address and the business use you have in mind. The old asking price, tenant, floor plan or lease term needs a current check.

Compare the full commitment

For a lease, compare the term, rent quotation and billing period, deposits, services, fit-out and additional charges. For a purchase, distinguish business occupancy from an income investment and review condition, title, existing leases, financing and continuing costs. An occupied building or extra unit does not guarantee income or immediate possession.

Before you sign or start work

Your use.
The written terms. The approvals.

Discuss the premises with our commercial team. Ask your attorney to review the agreement, your advisers about financing, costs and insurance and the municipality about the approvals for your business. A location guide does not settle those property-specific questions.

A space for your work.
A clear next step.

Send the address or search area, business use, size, budget and timing.
