Buying a home.
Not booking a rental.

Ask our team about viewing the home, comparable sales and the steps toward an offer. Do not base the purchase on promised appreciation, credit improvements or tax benefits.

Homes, prices and statuses can change. This guide is not a live list of apartments for sale or a promise of every property on the market.

Plan for ownership.

Boylston Street, Brookline Avenue or Beacon Street?

Send the full offered address and the entrance to your work or other regular destination. Check the particular route rather than assuming all Fenway homes have identical access. A street reference is a search preference, not a promise of a home for sale there.

Older building or contemporary high-rise?

Compare the actual rooms, windows, storage, laundry and stairs or elevator. Ask which facilities and parking rights come with the home and which charges apply. A historic, brownstone or high-rise label does not establish the purchase terms.

Monthly costs and building rules

Compare the mortgage payment with taxes, insurance, any association charges and upkeep. Ask your lender about loan and closing costs and your tax adviser about your individual circumstances. Buying does not guarantee rising values or unrestricted changes to a unit.

Ask for the building rules and relevant ownership documents before planning renovations. Have your attorney and lender review the documents relevant to the purchase.
