Ask about rent, utilities, recurring charges, move-in payments and offered lease dates. Check the actual rooms, entrance, storage and laundry before comparing apartments.

The Bedford Street example had several levels

Our earlier page described an unnamed Bedford Street condo with bedrooms upstairs, an attic and a finished basement. It was an old listing, not a current offer. Ask whether the offered home has usable space where you need it and which levels are reached by stairs.

Robins Street was a separate condo example

The original Robins Street description included a yard and a no-pets rule. Ask which outdoor area belongs to the current rental, who maintains it and what the written pet terms say. Do not assume an old renovation or pet rule applies to another condo.

The apartment and your routine

Check the details
you will live with.

Compare actual laundry, heating, cooling, parking and storage. For a basement or attic room, ask about its intended use and access instead of counting every finished area as a bedroom.

Ask for the written terms

Check lease dates, utilities, pet rules, parking and shared facilities for the offered home. Earlier apartment examples and prices are not current offers.
