This inquiry goes to our commercial team. It is not a lease application, reservation, financing approval or town permit request.

Start with the location.
Check the actual space.

Compare a town-center storefront with a shopping-center or Burlington Mall Road location by its actual customer entrance, parking and delivery access. Nearby roads, hospitals and other businesses are not evidence that your shop will attract their users. Burlington’s Planning page explains its development-review role and provides a town contact.

This is a commercial-property guide, not a live list of available units. Ask our team about a specific address or your search criteria.

Compare before committing

The premises.
The agreement. The costs.

The unit inside the shopping location

Look beyond a center’s name to the unit’s frontage, entrance, visibility, neighboring uses and route from parking. Check loading and customer access at your operating hours. Ask about exclusive-use rights and shared facilities rather than assuming proximity to a larger retailer brings customers.

Triple-net charges and the complete lease cost

Request base rent and the specific taxes, insurance, maintenance and other charges you would pay, including estimates and reconciliation terms. Compare deposits, fit-out, rent changes and renewal conditions. A lower advertised base rent does not necessarily mean a lower total occupancy cost.

The agreement and insurance

Ask your attorney to review the written lease and your insurance adviser to review the cover your business and the agreement require. Clarify repair responsibilities, signage, access and interruption arrangements. General lease labels do not settle the obligations for a particular unit.

An existing building or a development site

For a purchase, compare financing, condition, taxes and repairs with a complete lease proposal. For land or a building pad, ask about the parcel’s permitted use, access, services and proposed work. Town review is separate from negotiating a purchase; a listing description is not development approval.

Describe the property your business needs

Tell our team the use, required size, preferred location, parking, delivery access, budget and target opening. Include whether you need an existing fitted unit or can undertake building work. Ask about specific properties rather than treating this guide as a current vacancy list.

Owners and tenants offering space

Provide the address, floor area, condition, occupancy and existing commitments. Say whether you want to sell, lease or propose a sublease. If subletting, identify the current agreement and consent requirements. Our team can discuss the offer without promising a particular marketing outcome.

Before you sign or start work

Your use.
The written terms. The approvals.

Discuss the property with our commercial team. Ask your attorney to review the agreement, your lender about financing and the municipality about the approvals for your business. A general location guide does not settle those property-specific questions.

A space for your business.
A plan for your property.

Send the address or search area, business use, size, budget and timing.
