The same Norwood community, a newer name
The rental community formerly called the Berkshires at Windsor Gardens is now The Commons at Windsor Gardens at 624 Walpole Street. Its one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and townhomes give renters several ways to compare space.
The on-site Windsor Gardens commuter-rail station is a defining feature. Check the current schedule and the walk from the particular building, rather than assuming every home is equally close to the platform.

- Apartment and townhome layouts
- On-site commuter-rail station
- Pool, fitness and sports courts
Choose the layout, not just the bedroom count
Advertised interior features include wood-plank flooring, vaulted ceilings and patio or balcony space. The older guide also describes split-level townhomes and different storage arrangements.
Ask which features belong to the offered home, especially stairs, outdoor space and laundry. Confirm whether its laundry arrangement is an installed washer and dryer, hookups or access to shared facilities.
Recreation and everyday conveniences
Current shared amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, pickleball and tennis courts, outdoor lounge and a clubroom with a fireplace. Dog-park space, playgrounds and a mini-market are also advertised.
Confirm pet restrictions, parking costs and any seasonal access rules. Older references to shuttle, daycare and additional sports facilities should not be treated as current services.
