A proposal at 1500 Soldiers Field Road
Boston City Properties reported in February 2020 on a January 9 filing for a new apartment building at 1500 Soldiers Field Road in Brighton. The proposal described a six-story building, an affordable-housing component and approximately 60 parking spaces.
The article used both 106 and 108 for the apartment count. Rather than treating one as a verified final total, the proposal is identified by its address and design stage. Construction timing depended on approval and was not proof that the homes had been delivered.
Nearby projects had different sites
The account also discussed a separate apartment project at 1550 Soldiers Field Road and the larger Allston Yards plan. Allston Yards was described as an approximately 10.6-acre, phased mixed-use development with housing, offices, retail and community space.
A nearby television-station property was another part of the area’s redevelopment discussion. These references provided context for change around the corridor; they were not phases of the same 1500 Soldiers Field Road building. The historical proposal does not establish current apartment availability or permission for a new project on another lot.
