The submitted design
In December 2015, Boston City Properties reported progress on Cronin Holdings’ proposal for 150 Seaport Boulevard. The South Boston developer envisioned a 22-story glass tower designed by Elkus Manfredi, with 110 condominiums.
The proposal described a building approximately 250 feet tall and 263,000 square feet in area. More than 12,000 square feet on the first two floors would be devoted to retail and other commercial uses, with an underground garage and an open-air deck.
A conditional schedule
If approved, the building would replace the Atlantic Beer Garden and Whiskey Priest properties. The developer hoped to begin in 2017 and have the project ready in 2019. Those dates were anticipated milestones, not verified delivery dates. This report should not be used by itself to assign a later hotel or residential brand, or to advertise available condominiums.
