Ask about the offered home’s rooms, entrance, storage and laundry. Compare rent, utilities, recurring charges, move-in payments and the actual lease dates.

An area or building guide is not a vacancy list. Ask our rental team about a particular apartment and move-in date.

Compare the brownstone and the larger-building plan

Ask about the actual living and sleeping area, kitchen, storage and stairs or elevator. If a listing names Church Park, the Belvedere, Avalon at Prudential or Tremont on the Common, send the address and confirm the actual neighborhood and offered room layout. A named building does not establish a studio available for your dates.

Use the Newbury, Boylston, Beacon or Huntington address

Send the full home entrance and your destination. Check the actual walk to Copley Square, the Public Garden, a campus or the route you would use. Shops, performances and parks nearby are different from furnishings or facilities included in the lease.

you will live with.

Compare an individually offered condo rental with a rental-community home using the owner’s lease, building move-in rules and current written quote.

Ask for the written terms

Check lease dates, utilities, pet rules, parking and shared facilities for the offered apartment. Ask for any required recurring charges and move-in costs separately.

Need a furnished or temporary rental?

Share the exact dates and furniture you need. An appliance list does not establish that an apartment is furnished or offered for a shorter lease.
