Amo Realty - Boston City Properties
This inquiry goes to our commercial team. It is not a lease application, reservation, financing approval or town permit request.
Compare a downtown or Route 28 storefront by its actual customer entrance, sign visibility and parking arrangement. If your business depends on customers from a particular school or institution, send that location too; proximity alone does not establish demand for your shop.
This is a commercial-property guide, not a live list of available units. Ask our team about a specific address or your search criteria.
Compare before committing
Walk the storefront and customer route instead of comparing towns only by highway proximity. Check whether parking is on the property or elsewhere, whether deliveries can reach the unit and whether signs are visible from the direction customers approach. A neighboring residential use can also affect the questions you need to ask about hours, noise and deliveries.
Andover’s business toolkit links to its assessor and GIS records and zoning bylaws. Use those resources to identify the actual parcel and district, then discuss your intended use with the town. A prior office, restaurant or shop does not by itself establish permission for your business, signs or planned work.
If leasing before deciding whether to buy, ask what the lease permits, how long you are committed, the renewal terms and whether a purchase option is actually offered. Request base rent, additional expenses, deposits and improvement responsibilities in writing. Have your attorney review the terms; a trial period does not guarantee profitability or later ownership.
Discuss the actual price, financing structure, down payment and repayment terms with a lender rather than using residential-loan assumptions. Include taxes, insurance, maintenance, alterations and any shared-property charges in the business budget. Compare the purchase with a complete lease proposal, not just one monthly payment.
If the property is currently residential, verify the proposed business use and any required approvals before treating it as a retail site. Do not rely on an expected zoning change or exemption when signing a lease or purchase agreement. Discuss approval conditions and transaction terms with the town and your attorney.
Send the Andover address, current use, floor and lot areas, occupancy, parking, condition and desired timing. Tell our team whether you want a tenant or a buyer and identify known restrictions or existing leases. The inquiry starts a property-specific commercial conversation; it does not reserve space or establish an asking price.
Before you sign or start work
Discuss the property with our commercial team. Ask your attorney to review the agreement, your lender about financing and the municipality about the approvals for your business. A general location guide does not settle those property-specific questions.
Send the address or search area, business use, size, budget and timing.
