A residential and restaurant proposal in Everett

The earlier Boston City Properties account described V10 Development and partners proposing SKY Everett at 114 Spring Street near 2nd Avenue. The plans called for a 21-story residential tower, 366 apartments, ground-floor retail and a restaurant at the top of the building.

The source placed the site in Everett’s Commercial Triangle, a former industrial setting near the Chelsea border. Everett is a separate city, not a Boston neighborhood. The reported residential height and restaurant concept were proposed features, not proof of a completed tower, an available apartment or an operating restaurant.

The rooftop concept and surrounding landmarks

The restaurant plan was associated with the Varano family and described approximately 6,000 square feet of dining space plus a 1,500-square-foot sky deck with a retractable roof. The earlier account imagined views toward Boston, Assembly Row and Encore Boston Harbor.

Its comparisons with Sacro Plaza, Encore and the former Top of the Hub restaurant were part of the project’s historical positioning. Claims about the tallest residential tower or highest dining experience were not a verified current ranking. The original image carried “Rendering courtesy of Context.”

Approval, financing and timing remained separate steps

At the point described, the developer was seeking zoning relief and working through city permitting. Financing and investors were still part of the plan. The article discussed possible construction in 2022 and opening in 2024 while acknowledging that a precise schedule had not been released.

The source also speculated about a Silver Line extension and further neighborhood development. Those possibilities do not establish current transit service, approvals or demand. A current home or commercial-space inquiry should start with the actual address, intended use and proposed transaction rather than the earlier project forecast.
