The February 2022 filing
The Boston City Properties account dated February 16, 2022 described a February 7 filing updating a 5.3-acre project near Fenway Park. WS Development, Fenway Sports Group and the D’Angelo family were associated with the proposal, newly named Fenway Corners.
The article described eight buildings on 13 parcels across four blocks along Jersey Street, Brookline Avenue, Lansdowne Street and Van Ness Street. Those blocks had different uses and scales in the proposal.
Four blocks with different uses
The Jersey Block was described as up to five buildings totaling around 855,000 square feet of residential, commercial, retail and restaurant space. The Brookline Block was to contain one 624,000-square-foot building; the Lansdowne and Van Ness blocks one 250,000- and one 312,000-square-foot building respectively.
The revision reduced retail while retaining 216 homes and substantial office and lab space. A three-story Shed with a covered public rooftop and a reduced proposed height at 73 Brookline Avenue were among the changes.
Transport, parking and community proposals
The source discussed funding for transport changes, protected bicycle lanes, road improvements, fewer parking spaces and a 100-seat daycare concept called Fenway Family Center. The images were labeled “Photos Courtesy of WS Development.”
The plan remained under review and construction was hoped for in a later year. For a present property inquiry, identify the actual home or premises, transaction and layout, access or services requirements, and ask about current information.
