A second Boston location
In February 2020, Boston City Properties reported that Spaces had opened its second Boston location at 75 State Street. The coworking operator occupied approximately 38,000 square feet across the first two floors of the 31-story office tower.
The account described private offices, dedicated desks, meeting rooms, collaborative lounges and a business club. These were the workspace types and services promoted at the opening, not conventional apartment rentals.
The building context
The tower dated to 1987 and was associated in the article with Gund Architects. The report also noted its 2010 LEED Gold certification. That building history was separate from Spaces’ own operating arrangements.
The brief captured an expansion of flexible workplace options downtown. It does not establish today’s desk availability, membership prices, staffing or contractual terms. The original image was credited “Photo Courtesy: Regus.”
