Real Estate News

A new site may be redeveloped along Route 20. Before the new deal, the site was used as a municipal septage facility. Now, the site will soon be the home of the River's Edge. This new development will include 188 apartments. An estimated 25 percent of the units will be designated as affordable. In addition, 25 percent of the development must be geared toward older residents through age-restricted housing. The 8.24-acre project will start with demolishing the former facility before adding new water and wastewater systems for the future complex.

Another new project will be for a building at 24 School Street. Windsor Place is looking to develop 12 townhouse units. Like many other new projects, at least 25 percent of the townhouses will be restricted as affordable. This project was designed by Davis Square Architects and is currently making its way through the permitting and zoning process.
