Spinnaker Island, also known as Spinnaker Island & Yacht Club is an innovative 103-unit condominium complex on Spinnaker Island. This resort-style, beachfront community was created in the mid-1980s to help solve the problem of Boston's housing crunch. These spectacular condos were designed to smoothly blend with houses in the neighboring towns of Boston Harbor's South Shore. In an effort to mimic traditional New England styles, they have sharply sloped roofs, paned bay windows, and gray, weathered-looking shingles. Residents also have access to the commuter boat to Boston.
