While many of the condos that are available in Methuen are converted homes, the community at Prides Crossing is a condominium community that was never designed to be a single-family dwelling. As a result, this particular condominium has several units throughout its fairly large property, and there are also several community amenities available for its residents. This particular community has been around since the late eighties, and as a result, has a welcoming community that is close-knit.
Living in this particular property still manages to provide a very homelike experience; the exterior of the condo has a decidedly house-like appearance due to the shingled walls and corner trim. In fact, the main entrance to the condo has a decidedly colonial styling; it even features columns and a second-floor balcony. The whole condo is painted yellow, which provides a homey air that is great to come home to.
When it comes to community features, the property has a pool that is perfect for a hot summer day, and the property is positioned with a pristine view of the Merrimack River. Additionally, the property is located in a park, which means that there's plenty of space for children to frolic and more than enough room for families to relax.
With such an expansive property, residents will find plenty to do; there's even a pavilion on-premise that residents can use to study, socialize, or simply relax. This is a pet-friendly community, though there are restrictions. Also, during the warm months, the property's maintainers do an excellent job of cultivating blossoms, blooms, and flowers so that residents will always be able to come home to a beautiful display of color.
For residents, there are two parking spaces for each home. Each unit has a two-bedroom configuration that provides one and a half baths, and the floor plan in each of these is open, which provides plenty of options for design. The floors have wall-to-wall carpeting in every area with the exception of the tiled kitchens and bathrooms, and the windows in each home provide expansive views of the surrounding park area.
When considering the amenities within the units themselves, the overall experience in this condo community is very luxurious. When it comes to the kitchen experience, the kitchens in each home are enclosed but also have a window on the side that has extra counter space that can double as a breakfast bar. In fact, the kitchens in the development are truly unique; there are plenty of cabinets to store food and other items. The counter space is extensive so that food prep is easy, and there'll be plenty of room for appliances.
Insofar as the preexisting appliances, the kitchens have a large, four-burner gas stove, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and an above stove-mounted microwave. For those add-on appliances, the kitchen has four outlets interspersed above the countertops. The sink in each kitchen has a single-basin design and features an additional sprayer for manual dishwashing.
When looking at the bathrooms, residents will take note that there is an area with folding doors. This section opens up to reveal a cubby for additional storage for linens and toiletries, which adds a whole level of convenience to each unit. Each unit is also equipped with a cubby area underneath the stairs that is designed with full water hookups in order to accommodate a washer and dryer. To access each unit's private deck and balcony, residents need only go upstairs and exit via the spacious living room.
