Considered to be part of the Greater Boston Area, this town is located 17 miles from downtown Boston and has 10.5 square miles within its city limits, which is fairly densely populated; 30,602 people live here. The town also is home to Norwood Memorial Airport, which has two asphalt runways and is generally suited to small aircraft and helicopters. International aircraft lands at Logan International Airport in Boston.
