Often referred to as a suburb of Boston, this town of 85,146 is located only seven miles from the metropolis’ downtown, and as such offers many enticing development opportunities to investors. With 18.1 square miles of land, the area has a promising urban density and includes over a dozen small villages, several of which have downtowns of their own. This highly decentralized model makes almost every inch of this area an excellent investment; property is almost guaranteed to be close to a highly trafficked street or square. Both Newton Lower Falls and Newton Upper Falls used to be industrial sites, making them prime spots for redevelopment, while Oak Hill and Four Corners are two of the largest villages in the town. The village of Newton Centre offers a variety of public transit options.
