Milton apartments

Milton, incorporated in 1662, is the birthplace of former United States President George H.W. Bush and has been consistently included among Money Magazine's list of "The Best Places to Live in the United States." Milton is also known for carrying the highest number of citizens of Irish descent in the country.

This Norfolk County town is home to 27,000 people and is thought to have hosted the earliest powder mill to be established in the original colonies. Boston investors recognized the town's economic potential early on, procuring the funds to develop industries including paper and saw mills, an iron silting mill and New England's first chocolate factory. Milton was the place where the Suffolk Resolves were developed and signed in 1774, which served as the building blocks for the Declaration of Independence. The Suffolk Resolves House still stands today and now houses the Milton Historical Society.

Other attractions in Milton include the Neponset River Greenway, a popular site for the region's many cycling enthusiasts that connects the town with Boston Harbor, not to mention the Blue Hills Parkway and the Pine Tree Brook Greenway.
