With almost 70 square miles of land, this town is one of the larger incorporated areas in Plymouth County, although it has a relatively modest density, with a population of 23,117. Developers have found this area to be open to different projects that would perhaps be too large for smaller city districts, which makes it ideal for visionary investors who want to experiment. Located 40 miles from Boston and 30 miles from Providence, Rhode Island, this city is an ideal place for metropolitan residents to take short day trips or vacations.
