Allston is located in the western part of Boston and is has a colorful history. This neighborhood was first built to accommodate residents working for the newly-built railroad station. Allston is conveniently located in between Harvard Business and Harvard Medical schools, making it a preferred community to live in for students. However, Allston has also been a choice among musicians who often refer to this area as "Rock City."

It has quiet charm and a music scene that is compared to no other.
