Everett Apartments
The city of Everett sits on the shores of both the Mystic River and the Malden River just across from Boston and Cambridge. It split off from Malden in 1870 and became a city in 1892. It's named after Edward Everett, who was not only one of the state's best-known statesman, but he also served for a time as president of Harvard. Today, there are nearly 41,700 people in this bustling town that's in the midst of an economic boom.
The southern half of town is mostly industry and warehouses with the notable exception of the Gateway Center. Most people live, work and play north of Revere Beach Parkway. One thing more adventurous people will do is climb at the MetroRock Climbing Center, which offers several rock climbing walls for all skill levels.
The city also has an excellent public school system, but private schools are available if that's your preference. With Boston so close, many people will go there and unwind at the clubs and concert halls, or they'll take their families to Boston Children's Museum or to Mystic Mall in nearby Chelsea.
There are many different leasing and rental options for different needs such as a two-bedroom, one-bath spot on Garland Street. This space has lovely hardwood floors, a back deck for entertaining or just relaxing, and a kitchen with granite counter tops and new stainless steel appliances. Each bedrooms is fairly big, and the whole property is in a great location.
If you're looking for something a little more luxurious, then consider properties like the 1,350 square foot rental currently being advertised on Dunster Road. This is on the third floor of a three-story house and includes a huge kitchen with new appliances such as a refrigerator and a range. New hardwood floors grace the three-bedroom domicile, and the whole building has been recently repainted. Some pets are allowed, but an additional fee applies.
