Description
The DaVinci Lofts condos stand at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Cabot Drive in far northern Chelsea, east of Highway 1. The city of Rivere lies just a short drive north of this location, across the Rivere Beach Parkway. This exclusive condominium community contains a total of 15 loft units.
Developers constructed the mid-rise building in 1920. It offers an attractive light grey exterior, with stylish white stone trim. The main door opens onto Cabot Street. Broadway Avenue adjoins the eastern edge of the DaVinci Lofts complex, and Clark Ave borders it along the west. This structure, which extends for nearly a block on Cabot Street at its widest dimension, maintains a nearly rectangular shape. A square extension located along the southern edge juts out towards the south.
Residents access the main entrance through commercial glass doors, and a broad upper story window overhead allows copious natural light to enter the lobby area. City buses stop at the nearby Cabot and Broadway intersection. The rear of the building includes deeded parking spaces for some condo owners.
Lofts With Attractive Natural Lighting
Developers refurbished this building to create a number of one bedroom, one bath loft units. A few locations along the upper level offer metal balconies suitable for displaying plants, but most units lack this feature. Dimensions and floor plans within individual condos here vary. The building includes some efficiency 806 square foot units.
Many lofts in this location offer fine hardwood flooring and luxury kitchens. They include some units with high ceilings. The building supplies central forced air heating and air conditioning. The condo association has retained professional condo management services. The management implements some access control measures to enhance security.
In 2017, the HOA fee approached the $300 per month range. This amount includes master insurance, water, sewer and exterior maintenance services. Reportedly, the condo development permits residents to own pets under some circumstances. Condo owners also enjoy assigned parking in an off-street location.
