Acton Apartments

The town of Acton is a peaceful and friendly community in northeastern Massachusetts with a population of 21,900. It's also been considered to be one of the best small towns to live in by Money Magazine on two occasions. Acton was first settled as part of Concord in 1639, and it became a separate town in 1735 named after the London neighborhood of Acton. A militia from the town was also part of the battle of Lexington and Concord in 1775, and the first American officer to die in that war was Captain Issac Davis, a resident of the town. Their actions are still celebrated on Patriot's Day in April.

Acton schools are operated by the highly acclaimed Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, which operates five elementary schools in the town as well as a middle school and a high school. The town has five village centers inside, and each of them have their own unique charms. Some of them are more residential while others have a lot of commercial development.

Renters looking for an apartment should look at the Avalon Acton. This 380-unit complex offers several different floor plans that range from 700-1,450 square feet with the larger rentals including two beds and baths. Every apartment comes fully furnished, so residents won't have to worry about moving anything in. All the kitchens have been recently upgraded, and cats and dogs are both allowed. The complex itself includes a basketball court, a swimming pool, a storage area and a running path.

Another apartment to look at is on Great Road in North Acton. This 920 square foot residence has a large dining room, new floors and several appliances ready to use. The condominiums also have a tennis court on-sire that all residents are entitled to enjoy.
