The properties here are, on average, finished with the finest materials and feature beautiful, inventive designs. A typical unit will have two stories or more with an attached garage and gabled roofs. Many of the neighborhoods are adjacent to woodlands, and as a result trees can often be glimpsed from windows throughout the house. The living room usually has a grand fireplace with an expansive brick hearth that doubles as a kind of seating space for guests. In some places, this hearth is large enough so that two people can snuggle comfortably in front of the fire. In other homes, the fireplace is contained within a solid frame of marble or granite or stone. Hardwood floors can be found throughout the home, and serve as a solid grounding for the arrangement of elegant dining tables and gorgeously upholstered furnishings. Older homes may have very wide planks in the flooring, while newer homes tend to have more narrow wooden planks.
The kitchens are decorated with a dazzling series of different kinds of tile. These bright, multi-colored displays often are arranged underneath the cabinets, and lead into speckled granite countertops that act as perfect spaces for food preparation and socialization. One side of the U-shaped kitchens is usually dedicated to seating for visitors, who can sit down and converse with someone who is working in the kitchen. Wooden drawers with beautifully polished handles are common, as are rotating shelves that are perfect for the display of condiments, spices, and other food related accessories.
The bedrooms here are spectacular, not only for their high ceilings, but for the creativity that is used to design them. In many cases, the bedroom will have a cathedral ceiling that has timber beams crossing it at regular intervals. Giant skylights will create a cone of softly filtering light that makes the bedroom both airy and private. Central air provides warmth during the winter and coolness during the summer, making it a comfortable place to catch up on some sleep.
Selling
Making the most of an online listing is something of an art. Buyers spend their days scrolling through listings, so it is imperative that a seller understands how to distinguish their property from among all the other homes. For a seller who wants to create the best possible listing for their home but isn’t sure how to get started, we offer a suite of services that offers advice, photographic techniques, and contact information for staging companies.
Most importantly, we are able to connect a seller with buyers who are already excited about their property, and are likely to make an offer as soon as they have the opportunity for a site visit. We can help sellers get incredible offers for their property in a fraction of the time it would ordinarily take.
Geographic Location
Located south of the Merrimack River, this town is relatively close to the coast, yet far enough away that it does not experience too much traffic during the seasonal months. By car, the town can be reached by Interstate 95 and Route 113, and it is only a ten mile journey to the sea. The nearest towns are Merrimac to the north, Newburyport to the east, Groveland to the west, and Georgetown to the south. The city of Haverhill is also close by. Those who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors can of course stroll along the banks of the Merrimack River, or spend time at the Mill Pond Recreation Area. Withers Parcel, which overlooks a portion of the river, is another excellent location for a picnic or other festive party. For individuals seeking access to public transit, the town is located between two train stations in neighboring cities that service two different lines: both the Haverhill and Newburyport/Rockport lines are relatively nearby.
