To top it off, a Virginia-based company decided to build a 46,000-square-foot complex for mixed-use purposes. This new development is anchored by the discount grocery store, Aldi. The 8.5-acre site was placed just south of the intersection of Tow Road, Cranberry Highway and Tobey Road. Before the property was redesigned, it was the home of two smaller buildings. These buildings were torn down to create room for the new development.

Other than the 18,000-square-foot Aldi, the property also includes 27,800 square feet for other restaurants and retail stores. To meet the needs of shoppers, the property also includes more than 300 parking spaces.

This new development might be one of the largest in the area in recent years, but it is definitely not the only one. This neighborhood of town has been undergoing a commercial boom.
