Sturbridge MA Townhomes
Buying
Among one of the most affordable places in Massachusetts, the townhomes in this region are spacious and perfect for a buyer looking to get into the market. This town is roughly 55 miles from Boston, which is partially why the price per square foot here for a townhouse is typically $80. However, those buyers who are wise enough to invest now will be rewarded for a long time by increasing property rates and the joy of being close to pristine natural areas and woodlands. By contacting us, a buyer will be given information on the latest listings, including those luxurious properties that have yet to hit the public market. We can help handle logistical arrangements and make it easy for a buyer to find an affordable slice of luxurious living.

Bay windows, brick exteriors, shaker-style roofs and ample amounts of acreage on each parcel define the typical Sturbridge dwelling. Although some units are contained within larger complexes, many homes here are freestanding, and therefore have the liberty to experiment with high ceilings, lofts, and finished basements. Often, expansive bay windows will create an ideal place for either the dining room or a comfortable couch in the living room. The kitchens are designed to interact with the dining spaces, and therefore dividing walls are uncommon. In many instances, the kitchen will terminate in an open space in front of either a bank of windows or a set of french doors that open out onto the exterior deck. This space is ordinarily large enough for a small table or series of chairs clustered around an island, creating a comfortable spot for casual dining.
The primary living spaces, on the other hand, are often painted in vivid colors and feature any number of built-in shelves. These shelves usually have some degree of adaptability, allowing residents to move the individual planks of wood around in order to display books, art objects, or another group of items. In some instances, a built-in cabinet with extending drawers and cabinets is placed in the dining room, and functions both as a storage vessel and as a discrete wall. These types of cabinets are most typically found in homes that were built around 1900, although in some newer developments the storage method has been preserved and replicated.
The bedrooms are designed to be both warm and relaxing at the same time. Skylights often feature in these spaces, and in some homes, a separate fireplace is included in the bedroom. These fireplaces usually are included with the older dwellings, although in some cases the newer homes purposefully install a fireplace in the bedroom to make it as cozy as possible. The rooms are large enough so that they can host both a bed and separate pieces of furniture, such as a dresser, a desk, and on occasion, a chair or couch. The closets are illuminated with either recessed lighting or track lighting. Much as the built-in shelves in the living room are adjustable, so are the shelves in the closet.
Selling
What entices a buyer to stop browsing and start emailing for appointments? In our experience, a great listing is all about including the pertinent details in a way that conveys the experience of actually living in that home. Sellers usually have some difficulty creating an objective listing that also manages to make a buyer want to come see the property in person, which is why we offer our professional consultation services to help sellers create a post that attracts substantial buyer interest.
Additionally, sellers can count on us to help them create a magnificent first impression. We have a list of vetted staging companies who can quickly decorate and populate the home with sophisticated furniture choices. Most importantly, we bring buyers who have already made it clear that the property has the features they are looking for. We believe targeted viewings help sell homes more quickly than overcrowded open houses, and bring much higher initial offering prices. Ultimately, sellers who allow us to represent them will receive high offers in a much shorter time-frame.
