South Boston Community in Boston, Massachusetts

South Boston is a very rich Irish Catholic community, and there are a lot of sites and interest points that make living in this are a wonderful place. It is a wonderful place for people who own pets to live, because there are a variety of different parks and places for pets and their owners to enjoy the fresh air. This area is also where one can visit and attend the Institute for Contemporary Art, and enjoy all that the neighborhood has to offer, including its beautiful waterfront. Regardless of the time of year, there are always parades, festivals, and events that residents can enjoy that will get them out and about mingling with their fellow neighbors and locals.

Some of the places that residents enjoy visiting the most within South Boston are The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum, The Franklin, the Amsterdam Café, and Local 149. These are all places that residents have said they enjoy visiting on a regular basis. However, all of these places are based inside. If you prefer to be outside more than inside, you can always enjoy a long jog or peaceful bike ride at Castle Island Sidewalk. The best waterfront park in this community is the South Boston Maritime Park. If you are looking for a studio apartment, a 1 bedroom apartment, or a 2 bedroom apartment in the area, West Square would be a wonderful choice, especially if you plan on owning any pets.
