This gorgeous area, which is bounded on three sides by the sea, offers much in terms of luxurious accommodations. Many of the homes here are designed to be bright and airy, with expansive windows that take in the splendor of the ocean and the beauty of the surrounding foliage. Two levels are typical, and parking is normally provided either on an adjoining lot or as part of a larger subterranean complex. This complex may also double as a place for large objects or materials that the resident would prefer to place into storage.
Most units open up into the primary living space, which is L-shaped and curves around into the kitchen and dining area. This region is perfect for formal dining, while the kitchen usually has a small island that serves as an excellent place for a quick snack or informal breakfast. Many units have a small balcony that can also be an ideal place for an informal breakfast overlooking the sea, especially during the seasonal months. Hardwood floors are typical in the common areas, and plush carpeting tends to be used in the bedrooms. In some cases, the bathrooms are outfitted with tile.
The sinks come in all sorts of varieties, depending on the overall decor scheme of the dwelling. Most people are familiar with a porcelain sink that is mounted directly to the wall and displays its piping directly underneath. However, some units prefer to experiment with the sink, placing a cabinet around it to disguise its mechanical workings and creating space for a proper flat counter. This counter can often be made of an elaborate material such as marble or granite. The actual sink itself may not be recessed into the counter, but rather may take the form of a bowl, which can be made of a vibrant, glass-like material that is partly translucent. This bowl sink therefore makes a stunning contrast with the flat countertop beneath it, and creates a dynamic aesthetic that is heightened by different color choices. Some of these raised sinks have a more irregular shape, such as an elliptical or vaguely triangular pattern that makes it less of a purely functional item and more of an art object. The faucets, of course, also have a wide variety of potential styles, from a traditional chrome plated, centered central spigot and two temperature knobs to an elaborate dipping silver nickel plated faucet that recalls the slender neck of a swan. Anything can happen in this town.
Selling
We’ve all heard the dictum about location, location, location: but what about opportunity? Creating a great match between a buyer and seller isn’t simply a matter of where one is; it’s also about timing. Luckily, sellers can greatly increase their odds of finding a perfect real estate match by signing up for our service. We not only offer great advice on how to put together a listing, but we can help create the opportunities that result in quick sales.
We do this primarily by matching parties who have similar interests. Every seller who contacts us is paired with buyers who have expressed genuine interest in what their property has to offer. Whether someone is seeking a two bedroom home near the sea or a rambling five bedroom unit closer to the city limit, we can arrange appointments that put the two parties in touch. Contacting us is the first step to a successful sale.
