Although the exterior styles may vary depending on the original year of construction, the one thing townhouses in this city have in common is an emphasis on quiet splendor and meticulous design. From artfully placed cabinets in the bathroom that not only make the most of the space but also provide a visually appealing aesthetic to gorgeous vaulted ceilings in the primary living spaces, the homes here are designed to be comfortable and beautiful. The high ceilings that are typical in the living spaces can sometimes extend into cathedral ceilings, which correspondingly allow for the creative use of multi-story windows, creating elegant light wells which flood the space with light. Loft areas overlooking the primary living area are common here, and can double as mezzanines, or in some cases, secondary living spaces.
Built-in shelving is common, and often lines one entire wall of the living area, creating a grand opportunity for presentation. In other homes, the walls remain flat, but are interrupted only by a fireplace. While most primary living spaces terminate in a pair of sliding glass doors that opens up onto an ample waterproofed deck, in some homes the second story also has a balcony. This balcony is frequently located off the master bedroom, although occasionally the balcony will be extended so that it is accessible from several different bedrooms. In some homes, especially those with three or more bedrooms, the last bedroom will be converted into an office space or study which also has balcony access.
In most of these bedrooms, a walk-in closet is common, and features high ceilings with ample drawers and space for hanging clothing. The decks themselves are large enough not only to host a set of patio furniture, but also to semi-permanently store a barbecue or other outdoor equipment.
How to List Your Property
What’s the fastest way to find the ideal buyer for your property? We believe that it all comes down to making the right connections, and the right connections are formed through networks and excellent listings. When a seller contact us, they gain access not only to our list of serious buyers, but our years of expertise. We understand how to describe a home in a way that will appeal to a first-time visitor. We also understand how to keep that listing relatively short, and how to include the crucial details that convey the experience of the home, not just its basic facts.
Most importantly, we are able to provide targeted viewing appointments with buyers who have already expressed an interest in the specific features of your property. We do this by comprehensively asking each of our clients exactly what they are seeking. This saves time for everyone involved. We can hold intimate viewings that make a potential buyer feel welcome, and more likely to make an offer on the spot. We also minimize the logistical pressures of scheduling, lining up appointments on a timetable that is convenient to both buyers and sellers. Finally, we can suggest staging companies for those sellers who have already removed their furnishings from the premises but would like the advantage of having a sophisticated yet welcoming decor. Ultimately, we love to help turn listings into “sold” signs.
