Many of the structures in this city combine an elegant historic facade with the latest in appliances and contemporary finishes. Those properties that are in Brooks Estate especially will often have a brick or wood facade that dates to the mid or late 19th century. Depending on the extent of the remodel, the original interior walls may be preserved or removed entirely to make way for a more open floor plan. In those units that preserve the walls, elegant arched passageways often link one room to another. The kitchens often are enclosed, with an informal dining space tucked into the corner, and a separate dining room located only a few feet away. The choice to go with an all-white kitchen, including matching appliances, is a frequent one, although other decor schemes are also popular. Darker wood cabinets and stainless steel or black appliances can sometimes be found in this area, although a palette of light, bright colors tends to be more commonly employed.
The bedrooms are also ample, with banks of windows on the sides and occasionally a skylight or other light fixture deployed from the ceiling. Hardwood floors and carpeting are interchangeable in many of these homes, although tile is most typically used in the bathrooms. Bathtubs often are sited into a corner of the bathroom, and set into a frame with mosaic tile so that they are large enough to have someone comfortably lie in them while enjoying a glass of wine or other relaxing beverage.
How to List Property
Whether this is your first sale or your hundredth, it’s always a help to have someone aid with the logistics of listing a property. From gathering the necessary information to selecting the best pictures to put online, listing a property requires understanding how to view a structure with the eyes of a first-time visitor, a feat that is often very difficult for a homeowner. Luckily, we provide a service that not only helps you list your home, but find a buyer in a fast time frame.
We accomplish this latter task by giving each of our clients access to a curated list of buyers who are looking for the specific features your property contains. Whether you have a two bedroom two bath suite or a five bedroom dwelling with a finished basement, we can quickly help you find a buyer who is seeking that exact arrangement. Our service matches serious buyers with sellers, eliminating the “be-backers” and other mismatches that result from a less studied approach.
We can help a seller quickly assemble the needed information as soon as they contact us. With expedited and targeted viewing appointments, we make it easy and quick to list and sell a property.
