Brighton Neighborhood in Boston, Masachusetts
Brighton is located at the northwest corner of Boston, and it is also pressed up against the shores of the Charles River. This neighborhood was first settled back in 1630, but it was actually considered to be a part of Cambridge. It wasn't until around 160 years later that it broke off from Cambridge and became its own independent neighborhood within the top part of Boston. If you are looking to live in a beautiful neighborhood, Brighton could be the place for you.
It is considered to be a very welcoming neighborhood, and there are a variety of apartment buildings that offer tenants a great place to live, including apartment buildings that allow their tenants to keep either cats or dogs. There are a lot of small businesses in this area, as well, and it is a wonderful place to set up roots in the city of Boston. Unlike areas that are downtown Boston, Brighton offers a more natural outdoor outlet for their residents to enjoy, and the overall population of this particular area is only around 43,000 people. This is the average population for some of the small neighborhoods within Boston, Massachusetts.
It is a convenient neighborhood to live in if there is a need to commute to downtown Boston, as well, and this is due to the fact that Boston is accessible through the MBTA Green Line "B" branch rail service. For students who go to Everest Institute, Saint John's Seminary or parts of Boston College, Brighton will allow them to live near campus without have to deal with dorm living, and this is where all of the wonderful apartment communities become even more appealing.
